Coffee Mob is, first and foremost a 3rd wave, specialty coffee shop. Despite photos of food and pastry it's not a place I would recommend for eating. In fact in my many years as a patron, I have never eaten there. What it is, is what it is truly great at; a fantastic specialty coffee shop run and owned by a local passionate man who simply loves and is enthusiastic about his coffee. He often travels to origin to procure his coffees and roasts each batch personally and passionately to perfection. However, to those looking to supplement their Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts or people who enjoy break room coffee machines, this is NOT the place for you! Also if you're idea of good service is a Brooklynite girl ushering you thru the line quickly and asking "who's next!" this is also not the place for you. However , if you're in search of fantastic, freshly roasted, well procured, 3rd wave/specialty coffee, brewed with care by a local and passionate business owner in a nice neighborhood shop, Coffee Mob comes highly, highly recommended. It is, hands down, the absolute best cup of coffee available in a many mile radius, and by far the BEST in the Flatbush/Ditmas Park/Kensington/Midwood area.
5 star cappuccino. 5 star music selection. Farm to shop beans. Selector rewind, rinse, repeat.
New spot in my neighborhood just opened, we came after Easter dinner for a couple drinks. The owner was very gracious the bar was about to close but he kept it open longer for us very appreciated. Ambience is could be improved - the bar has very large windows so can feel a little bit intrusive. Will be back to try out the food!
A solid little menu with delicious food, a casual atmosphere and friendly folks working here. A great place for a date or to stop in when your just off the train. You'll love it!
Went there yesterday, and got an americano! Tastes amazing, this is exactly how the coffee should taste like! The quality can compete with blue bottle or %arabica. Def recommend! P.s. for those who complain about the price, you pay for quality not for quantity product.
